Onshore Rigs
Each of these environments comes with its own set of risks.Since heavy equipment is used in drilling operations, there is always a possibility of accidents. However, if you work carefully and follow safety protocols, most dangerous situations can be avoided. Offshore oil drilling sites are located in remote, less populated areas.
These locations include: Remote desert areas, Offshore drilling platforms in the middle of the sea, Deep forest regions, and Mountainous or icy terrains. Rigs are primarily situated in such challenging environments. Both mental and physical endurance are essential for this job.
